Couples in love deserve choice

Happy Valentine’s Day fellow Celebrants and trainee Celebrants. Now is the time to make sure you are out there capturing the imagination of recently engaged couples, educating & inspiring couples that a personalised wedding ceremony does not mean a few post-it notes on the ceremony script (see photo - this is a genuine shot from a professional wedding photographer of a registrar-led ceremony in 2022 costing the couple between £400-£700).

Last year, according to the annual Hitched.co.uk wedding survey, 20% of couples had a church ceremony, 12% had a registry office ceremony, 19% hired a Celebrant with 49% paying hundreds of pounds to get registrars to come to their venue.

The demand for Celebrant-led weddings is growing fast. I could have been booked 4 or 5 times on some of the most popular wedding dates in 2023.
