Planning a 2021 Wedding is still possible

Sheffield Celebrant Planning a Wedding.jpg

Believe it or not I’m still getting wedding enquiries for 2021. Having your wedding in 2021 is still possible.

With the road map out of restrictions currently holding firm, many couples are clearly feeling more confident to make plans that they perhaps have already put on hold or delayed once, twice or more.

There are many hotels & catering venues that are not “licensed” or “approved” that still have availability in 2021. With a celebrant-led wedding you don’t have to hold your ceremony in the restricted number of venues with a “license” this only applies if registrars are attending on the day. Instead, couples book a “statutory marriage ceremony” days or weeks before their wedding day. This involves just the couple & two witnesses & costs £46. Whilst couples have to “give notice” locally, you can have your short legal registration of the marriage anywhere. Many councils, have “Statutory marriage ceremony” slots but don’t advertise them. Couples may have to make a short trip to a neighbouring council for their legal bit. For example, couples who live in Sheffield can easily register their marriage in Worksop (Nottinghamshire) or Chesterfield (Derbyshire) before having their beautiful, personal & meaningful celebrant-led wedding ceremony in Sheffield.

There are so many options available for couples who want to do something a special & unique wedding ceremony. Feel free to get in touch to find out more or see my website for more details.
