Marriage involves both Monday Mornings and Saturday Nights

“Remember you’ll have as many Monday mornings as you will do Saturday nights”.

I decided to share this quote this morning in honour of my mother-in-law who is now 90 years young.

She told my then fiancé & I these wise words of advice after telling her that we’d got engaged to be married.

She was right of course.

A successful marriage isn’t all about partying & having a good time. It’s also about being there for each other on those dark, cold Monday Mornings when you have to get up for work, when you’d rather stay in bed.
