That Post Ceremony Glow... no accident!
I love that glow that couples have immediately after their wedding ceremony. It’s partly a release of the excited tension that builds immediately before the ceremony but it is also the pride & happiness they share in making personal & meaningful vows to each other in front of their family & friends.
I take pride in my pre-ceremony build up to ensure the newlyweds have nothing but happy excited feelings before the ceremony starts.
I get to the wedding venue at least an hour before the start to greet early arriving guests. This might include the groom’s family & friends. If they feel happy & confident then these feelings are easily transmitted to the main man.
If there are young children present, I say hello & tell them what is happening & what my job is. This helps prevent lots of questions to Mum & Dad later (usually when the ceremony starts 🤣) & also helps the parents feel more relaxed too. Happy parents normally means happy children.
Lastly, I will get permission to greet the bride 15 minutes before the ceremony starts to see how she is doing, help calm any nerves if needed & to give a final briefing to the bridal party about their entrance.
A warm relaxed welcome for everyone is vital to ensure everyone enjoys every moment of the ceremony, especially the couple. Then, the post ceremony glow is guaranteed. 💕💕
